How a purpose-built lead magnet funnel gives Ready Set Grow’s new website a way to grow its audience from day one.

Joanne Tartaglio said that partway through our work together — and it captures something important about this project. Building a professional online presence isn’t just about having a beautiful website. It’s about making sure that the website has the tools to do its job.

In Part 1, we walked through the Kajabi website build that gave Ready Set Grow its professional home. This is Part 2 — the lead magnet funnel we built alongside it, designed to start growing Joanne’s email list from the moment the site went live.

The Lead Magnet: Shaping Your Startup for Success

Joanne had already done the hard work of creating her guide — Shaping Your Startup for Success — a PDF designed to help first-time entrepreneurs navigate every startup stage with clarity and confidence.

Our job was to give it a home, connect it to her audience, and make the whole experience feel seamless.

The guide itself is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 Storage. This means that if Joanne ever updates the guide with new content, she can replace the file without changing the URL — so anyone who has saved or bookmarked the PDF link will always find the most current version waiting for them.

What We Built

Opt-In Page

The opt-in page lives at ReadySetGrowBiz.com/success and leads with a clear, benefit-driven headline — Are you ready to transform your startup dream into reality? It speaks directly to Joanne’s ideal client: someone with a big vision who needs a practical roadmap to move forward.

The page is styled consistently with the Ready Set Grow brand, so visitors moving from the main site to the opt-in page experience one cohesive journey. Every element — the copy, the layout, the call to action — is designed to make saying yes feel easy.

Thank You Page

Once a visitor opts in, they land on the thank you page. This page confirms their guide is on its way and sets a warm, welcoming tone for what comes next. We also added a link to the Ready Set Grow blog, giving new subscribers somewhere to go while they wait — a place to keep reading, keep learning, and keep building their connection with Joanne’s work. It’s a small detail — but the moment after someone opts in is one of the highest-engagement moments in any funnel, and it deserves to be done well.

Email Welcome Sequence

The guide delivery is just the beginning. We set up a full email welcome sequence that delivers the guide and then walks new subscribers through a carefully considered journey — eight nurture emails that introduce Joanne, build trust, and gently move her audience toward the Ready Set Grow program.

For subscribers who join through the newsletter opt-in rather than the guide, a second nurture sequence runs in parallel — making sure every new contact receives a relevant, well-timed introduction to Joanne and her work, regardless of how they arrived.

Tags and Automations

This is where Kajabi automations do their quiet work — connecting every piece behind the scenes without Joanne having to manage it manually. Tags are applied automatically based on how a subscriber opts in, keeping Joanne’s list organised and her sequences running to the right people at the right time. It’s the kind of backend logic that’s invisible to the subscriber — but makes all the difference to how the funnel performs.
